Thank you to the 266 people who participated in the Impressions of the Broomfield Police Survey! The Survey closed March 15 at 5 p.m. More opportunities to engage with the Broomfield Police Department and share feedback will be posted to this page within the next month.

BPD Community Engagement: Listening Tour

The Broomfield Police Department is embarking on a listening tour to hear directly from you about your experiences, concerns and impressions of the police. The tour will consist of public, in-person events (listening sessions) across Broomfield County where community members (like you!) can participate in activities and small group discussions to help improve policing in Broomfield. Hearing from all community members and those the department does not often reach is a critical step in building and fostering partnerships between the Broomfield Police Department and the community.

By participating in the listening sessions, you will help the department learn how the community wants to engage with police. Feedback gathered will help guide the structure of future engagement efforts and programs. During the listening sessions, you will be asked to share general impressions of the Broomfield Police Department, personal interactions and experiences with police, outstanding concerns and reservations with the department and ideas for improving services and programs moving forward.

Prior to the listening tour, take the survey below and provide comments in the other sections about your impressions of the police department, levels of service and engagement and opinions on offered programs. This information will help guide the conversations at the listening sessions in summer 2024.
