Project Overview

The proposal includes a wireless tower to the northeast of the existing Discovery Church building. The proposed wireless tower will be within a faux silo structure. The structure will match the design of the existing church and rural residential area.

The proposed silo structure is a total of 50' tall. The tower will provide a dramatic increase in the wireless coverage. The applicant has discussed this in their capacity coverage letter. The facility will be designed under FCC regulations. The site will also have the ability to support two more wireless carriers.

Landscaping, Open Lands, Parks and Trail Amenities: The structure will require the relocation of one existing evergreen plant.
Building Height: The A-1(A) district outlines a height limit of 25' for structures located on a subdivided parcel. The proposed structure will be 50' in height to be approved through the use by special review process.
