Neighborhood Meeting

A neighborhood meeting was held for the project on June 6, 2024. At this meeting the applicant provided a summary of the proposal and the intended project timeline. Residents were in attendance at this meeting and asked a number of questions including the following:

- What is planned capacity? Applicant Answer: Large meeting area will have capacity of around 150, but capacity for overall building is unknown at this time.
- What will be the building size? Applicant Answer: Around 5,000 square feet
- What will be the hours and operation for the food service? Applicant Answer: Still looking into exactly how this will be operated.
- Can residents rent rooms for events? Applicant Answer: That is the intention based on other similar buildings.
- Will there a public swimming pool? Applicant Answer: There will not be a pool within the linear park, however Center Street will likely have pools that can be publicly accessible. Applicant can conduct a survey of residents to understand desire, but dues would likely increase.
- Will offices be available to residents? Applicant Answer: Likely not, offices will be for HOA staff.
- Will this be for everyone in Baseline community or certain builders / resdents? Applicant Answer: This is for Baseline community as a whole.
- How much would rates increase with a pool? Applicant Answer: Unsure, this would require additional research. Other amenities have been discussed such as tennis, basketball, etc. and a survey would be helpful to understand what residents prefer.
