Second Reading
On February 10, 2026, Broomfield City Council held a public hearing and second reading on the Commercial and Oversize Vehicle Code Update (ordinance no. 2293). Council approved the ordinance with two amendments (visitor permits; resource offering) and tabled the consideration of a third amendment ("Green Pass" permits). This was not the final approval. The Amendment will be considered at the March 24 City Council meeting.

On March 24, Broomfield City Council voted to adopt the Commercial and Oversized Vehicle Ordinance without the “Green Pass” amendment. The ordinance goes into effect April 3, 2026.
