    John was a dedicated Recreation Services employee with over thirty years of service.  He also shared his love of golf with high schoolers by coaching both the boys and girls teams.  Nancy has spent a majority of her time educating Broomfielders in a variety of science subjects.  Both continue to give back to their community as they enjoy retirement.

    Paul Derda
    Former Director of Park and Recreation Services

    Paul Derda was the longtime director of Broomfield's Recreation Department and a constant presence as master of ceremonies at charity fundraisers and public events for decades.  Derda also volunteered for Broomfield Community Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and served as an usher in his church.

    John and Beth Bosio have given over 40 years of community service to Broomfield, most notably as owners of the non profit Anchor House which serves young people who have aged out of foster homes.

    Senior Services employee

    Joanne McIntosh quickly became the familiar face at the front desk at the Senior Center and is now with Meals on Wheels organizing all the meals going out to Broomfield residents every day.

    Jay Willey has lived in the Broomfield community for over 50 years.  As a Personal Trainer with the City and County of Broomfield, Jay has trained about every demographic in our community to lead healthy, productive and more enjoyable lives. His influence and knowledge has touched thousands of lives over the years.  Jay has trained and welcomed members of all communities in the spirit of inclusivity, kindness and respect.
