Phase 1 and 2 Focus Groups Begin

Starting this month, subject matter experts (SMEs) from the City and County of Broomfield, nonprofits, community advocates, regional agencies, local businesses and more will participate in a series of Broomfield Together focus groups. Participants will provide insight on topics such as regional growth, transportation, arts and culture, public health, housing, sustainability, water planning, community services and more. These groups will provide topic-specific expertise on where Broomfield is now, and what potential challenges and opportunities the Comp Plan and TMP could help address. Information gleaned from these groups will be part of the “existing conditions,” which provides a broad overview of where Broomfield is now. Pairing this data with community input from public engagement efforts helps to identify challenges and opportunities for Broomfield in the next decade and beyond.

The Sustainability Focus Group meets to discuss challenges and opportunities related to sustainability in Broomfield.
