Community Open House Recap

Three community open houses were held on:

  • June 17 at Aloft Hotel by Marriott at Arista
  • June 23 at Aspen Lodge at Anthem Ranch
  • June 24 at Broomfield Community Center

At each of the three community open houses, participants learned about the Comp Plan and TMP updates and how community feedback will shape the plan’s outcomes. Through 18 interactive activities, attendees provided input on different topics such as development and redevelopment, housing, community services and facilities and transportation.

Community feedback collected from the open houses, survey, in-person events, focus groups and online activities will help shape the vision and values underlying Broomfield’s updated comp plan and TMP. Feedback will be shared with Broomfield Council and a summary of what was heard will be posted on Broomfield Voice later this fall. This feedback will provide the foundation for the upcoming phases of the Comp Plan and TMP update, as the vision and values will be used to evaluate preliminary plan recommendations.
